My original blogpost, Web Hosting Top Ten Reviews, has undergone a re-evaluation. I will talk about the top three companies here and why they have achieved this position.

Site Build It has now captured the Number ONE spot. What is the reason?

Using Site Build It, you can now create not only static websites but much more. They have introduced Web 2.0 to Site Build It (SBI) sites through Content 2.0. What it means is that you can now convert your SBI sites into a dynamic website with comments system as well as invite others to contribute content to your site. The immediate benefit of Content 2.0 is an exponential increase in traffic.

The second thing which has been introduced with SBI is known as Infin It! Earlier, there were limitations to the type of technology that you could use while creating SBI sites. For example, you could not use WordPress or other content management systems to create blogs, it was not possible to install any scripts like a review site script, you could not add PHP to your content pages, etc. Now, all these limitations are things of the past. With Infit It!, SBI sites can now have all the latest web and internet technologies.

Their support and forum are as good as ever. The company behind Site Build It, SiteSell.com, and its President & CEO, Mr. Ken Evoy, are ever eager and committed to giving the best package for the SOHO or the small business segment.

And above all, their two-tier, recurring-income 5-Pillar affiliate program is the best program that I have ever come across. Apart from my reasonably good tier-1 recurring income, I am earning a comfortable passive income from my 200+ sub-affiliates.

Authority Site Center is still the Number 1 in Web 2.0 related site hosting and training center. Using Authority Site Center services, you can create content rich authority sites. ASC have grown in size, stature and quality in the last 8 months since my last review. Their training program is excellent, their forum is one of the best places for top quality help and technical support has also improved favorably during last year.

They have introduced a new service, Social Power Linking, which considerably enhances your ability and knowledge to do social marketing and apply web 2.0 techniques to your authority sites. In 2007, they had also introduced a new software, Web2Submitter, to accelerate social marketing activities for your sites. This is one of the tools that I use daily for all my Web 2.0 assets. This software is priced at $47 but it is distributed free to Social Power Linking members.

Even though support has definitely improved, I would still like to see true 24/7 support at ASC which is not there right now. But, the entire lot at ASC lead by Jack Humphrey are a dedicated lot. During 2008, we can, definitely, expect a lot more from these people.

ASC’s affiliate program is a single-tier, recurring-income affiliate program. My affiliate income has seen a great jump in 2007 due to ASC’s affiliate program. I have found them to be the easiest and best converting affiliate program.

Blue Host has jumped several positions to capture the number 3 spot. I would rate them as the Number 1 in conventional web hosting. Their package is very reasonably priced, their support & service is outstanding and their hardware and software configurations are based on latest technologies. Unlike Site Build It and ASC, if you want a no-frills web hosting company but the full bouquet of web hosting services included, then Blue Host is the web hosting company of choice.
