In the individual entry

Creating multiple income streams for an affiliate marketer is making big waves among the affiliate marketing community with almost everyone taken up with creating multiple streams of income which is not a bad idea as it pays to have income coming in from more than one source. However, it may be wiser to make the multiple streams of income for an affiliate marketer to happen one step at a time rather than all in one go because it is better to consistently earn from one source before starting on a fresh one.

Added Sense Of Security

Having multiple income streams for an affiliate marketer allows the marketer to feel safe even if any of the streams of income fail to get off the ground, which is the real reason behind having multiple income streams.

So, if you are already having an income coming in from say affiliate marketing in computers you can then branch off into software and thus grow your business income in a thoughtful and well planned manner.

However, setting up multiple income streams for an affiliate marketer may take some effort and also time to create what is a passive means of generating income, and you will need to be dedicated as well, and it is not something that will make you rich overnight; rather, you have to wait for it to grow and creating an online business is also a time consuming effort.

Perhaps the simplest means of creating multiple income streams for an affiliate marketer is to join in as many affiliate programs as is possible, and you could put in java script or HTML code on a website and have your affiliate ID embedded there which should be easy to do.

Among the better affiliate sites you could tap in to create multiple income streams are Commission Junction, Amazon, ClickBank, LinkShare and Shareasale plus plenty more, and as an affiliate marketer with a website of your own, there is no difficulty in joining affiliate programs such as these from which you can make good money.

The only thing that is required from an affiliate marketer is to be able to direct traffic and provide leads to the vendor whose affiliate program you are promoting. The vendor will do the rest including selling and shipping as well as interacting with customers.

With the better affiliate programs that were just mentioned, getting payments is no problem and payments are always made on time with these affiliate programs.

I have developed multiple streams of income for the past 10 years, with most of the emphasis within the past 5 or 6 years. I have 27 individual streams that come in monthly, and 2 that are quarterly. I have always believed that having many streams of income is a smart way to go, as one stream can dry up at any time due to a program closing, a website business being sold, etc.

A few years ago a Google update eliminated several of my most productive pages, and it was a darn good thing that I had other things going on or I might have gone belly up. However, I did survive, and since then I have made those lost areas come back, so having all of your eggs in one basket is risky for sure. Unless you can get rich with one thing, many things is best. Diversity is a form of insurance, just like investing.

For new affiliates, the multiple streams will not become a reality overnight, and as you have mentioned, each program must be developed but there is nothing wrong with organizing your time in such a way as to working on them simultaneously. That is exactly what I do every day. It requires organization and dicipline.
